I've always been interested in art and I've been especially drawn to color, texture, and shapes. Since I received a digital camera several years ago, I've become intrigued with photography. I love taking photographs in the forest preserves and parks surrounding Chicago and at the botanic gardens. I started taking photos of nature primarily, but in the past year, I've become fascinated with creating totally new images through the technique of editing my original photographs. My photographic art is based on my original photographs. I frequently start by layering several of them. Then I use various editing tools, filters and textures, to create a completely new image.
